When I moved onto a new position as Field Marketing Director in 2004 I named Sheldon as manager of the department and he continued to service my new department with our offices located right next to each other until my retirement in 2012. You can say I personally groomed him for leadership and he performed admirably for over 32 years. I got him involved with many business and community related volunteer projects and industry boards. We together successfully launched several annual student related educational programs. I saw him everyday and we worked extremely long and fast-paced hours together over those years. We remain personal friends and have shared numerous work related and family life experiences during our time together.
